fuagf -- yup, that was back at the very beginning of the process of planning the build -- we finally got the engine and turbo system from Lingenfelter at the end of October, which is when the car went into the shop for the actual build -- now at the body shop for getting the flared fenders and other new body items shaped and fitted to OEM fit and the full-car paint job done -- then when it comes back, another week or so to complete the last couple of install details and do the chassis dyno runs and complete the tuning

if I ever want to run the 109-octane racing unleaded at higher boost, that would be good for between 1,500 and 1,600 HP -- and if I ever want to go to 'kill mode', i.e. turn it at that point into a non-street-legal purpose-built dragster running the C16 fuel at 25-30 psi of boost, that'd be good for somewhere around 2,000 HP (running at 15 psi, or 1 atmosphere, of boost on pump 93) -- the drivetrain in the car is fully race-prepped and rated to handle 'kill mode', so as I'll be driving it on pump 93 at 1,250 HP the drivetrain won't even break a sweat; and so it is with every element of the build

of course, I'm really looking forward to this -- gonna be driving it around the country, have a lot of old friends it's way past time I caught up with -- so there will be times upcoming when I'm on the road, and though I'll have what I need to stay in touch and keep an eye on things won't be posting much
