Business 101 - It costs a lot of money to develop a new product. That's what I see missing from your equation. So, the "full realization" is a competitive product in a multi billion dollar industry. It can of course be argued that it shouldn't have taken 5 years or 22 million dollars to do this but there is a huge difference between being a retailer that just sells a product for a profit and being a developer that has to start with an idea and bring it to market.
