As pjvdfm said, Cramer's statement is probably correct for 95% of all pennies, but there ARE exceptions. IMO the trick is to dig deeply and view everything with a jaundiced eye in hopes of finding a pearl among the pennies that you can believe in. Although a good debt/equity ratio and a decent revenue stream are nice, to me finding a management that is relatively honest and has similar goals for the company that you have is most important. I feel that NEOM is the right place to be at present. Although CF and co. are quite tight-fisted with their PR, it seems to me that they are working hard (and smart) to make Paperclick a reality. If I took Cramer's advice and never invested with pennies, I would never have bought TNOG, which I've "taken more off the table" from than I ever have with any other stock.
