re: the fact that the data stream stopped long before any catastrophic rise in temperature was registered indicates to me an internal problem in the landing gear area or pure and simple, sabotage.
Zeev..when i first heard the words that the data stream stopped cold..(and as you say long before catastrophic damage) that was my first reaction and still is! and there were multiple data streams that stopped...
THE EVIDENCE DOES NOT ADD UP CONCLUSIVELY to what everyone is saying..maybe it will, but it doesnt yet...AND I PRAY they are not going with this "easy solution" rather than fully considering what might and its a big might, be something far worse and hideous.
