fuagf -- just as Imadinnerjacket clearly was elected in the wake and, finally, solely as a result of all of that, Axis of Evil, the PNAC/neocon plan of dubya&co, the burnt offering, all of it on our behalf through that time, so too have the mullahs since gone a lot more aggressive -- as such things tend to happen with folks who've been treated that way, and have, exactly as fully intended by the neocons, fed and kept right on feeding right back into not only keeping things riled up but progressively making them worse -- for awhile now, they've been and continue carrying and provoking every bit of their end of the current tensions -- the background is essential to know and understand, but that was then and this is now -- and now, it is time for them to change their posture -- a posture that is going to change, one way or another; they are going to be held to full compliance with the NPT -- they're really pushing their fucking luck at this point; the situation now is not just some neocons' fevered war-lusting web of lies and bullshit -- they had damned well better offer up some real progress quickly in this next bit of chit-chat that apparently might happen -- they must provide full and ongoing on-demand on-the-ground inspector access to and remote monitoring of everything, including anything and everything possibly relating to warhead and corresponding missile/delivery vehicle design and/or production -- or their shit's gonna get blown up, brutally -- that's the deal now, if not in every way the way it ought to be, the way it is

and I wouldn't put much on those stories floating around that Obama wouldn't/won't act before the election, that he made some deal with or gave some assurance to Bibi for the purpose of securing that, that that's what's driving his decision-making on this at this time -- all the pieces are in their places on the board -- if Obama decides the time has come to act, he'll act
