Only 2 GOP candidates were on the VA Repub primary ballot yesterday, Willard Romney and Ron Paul, so it was no surprise to anyone that Willard won in VA.
What has to alarm the GOP is only 5% of Repub voters turned out to vote in yesterday's primary - weather state-wide was very nice, btw. No political party can win a state with such low interest in/enthusiasm for their candidate...Willard will have to also BUY the Commonwealth of VA if he wants to win VA in Nov - although he tried that in Ohio where he outspent his closest rival, Rick Santorum, 5:1 and won Ohio by only 1 percentage point.
