It is just possible that the US/GB might defeat the Iraqis. There is N Korea of course but the Russians and the Chinese have a big stake in soritng that out and they can be less polite than the US/GB when they want to.

So, agreed, it is always uncertain, but, there is a chance that the Allies can defeat Iraq and then much of the uncertainty would be removed.

That might actually be viewed as a positive and there is a chance that Armageddon might not be happening.
