A 640 million volume is not as impressive as it sounds. 640,000,000 shares being traded at let's just say an ask of .0002 = $128,000 worth of a stock being traded, clearly $120,000 of any stock will not make any significant difference, that is just not enough to be a market mover. You need millions of dollars of a stock to be traded so let just say $1,000,000 worth of a stock with an ask of .0002 = 5,000,000,000 in volume. Now that is a market mover. There is a math behind it not just historical data and large numbers. Not saying that I know everything, but that is how I was taught to look at volume.
