I posted that the retirement of 150 million shares, that represented 22% of the O/S meant that there were 681,818,00 in the O/S to begin with and 531+ million after the fact. That's what 150 million shares reduction that equals 22% of the total shares means in any equation. Math 101.
The fact that today there is 420+ million shares in the O/S means that there is 100 million less than the pr originally stated.
Look at it this way. What's the original total, that is 150 million shares reduction = 22% reduction in shares? That original total is 681+ million shares. The fact that the the real O/S is only 420+ million shares is a plus in my book.
