I think that enough has been said on the tax policy and I see any further talk on this issue as being pointless.

I think the discussion has run it's course.

Can the moderator request that such discussions belong on another board ?

This is an investment forum, so it's hard to argue that dividends and their tax treatment are off topic. I am also at a disadvantage here because silencing someone who disagrees with me could lead to charges of abusing my power. Especially when no one speaks up while the discussion was on going.
