The PM I sent to FTM:

The 2nd line trial fully enrolled October 6th, 2011. Our Indian NSCLC trial with 49 patients had PFS 6.1 months. 6.1 months from October 6th is April 9, 2012. But in calculating PFS, won't there be individuals who event earlier than 6.1 months and later than 6.1 months?

The company expects the study to complete in April 2012 (final data collection date for primary outcome measure)(timeframe: until disease progression).

At this point the primary outcome measure is ORR.

Isn't it likely that PFS will be calculated at a later date than ORR - assuming that something like half the patients will have evented beyond the 6.1 month point in time?

In the 49 person Indian NSCLC trial, the Kaplan Meir plot of PFS shows that there was one patient that evented after 300 days or 10 months.

Using the 10 months as a guide, I would have thought PFS might be calculated as late as August 2012.

Thoughts?
