If dividends are double-taxed and you're fine with it, that's different than saying dividends are not double-taxed. One is an honest position, the other isn't.
I'm starting to understand the argument on double-taxation of dividends, and assuming that's a sound argument, then why must it be that the corporation pay all of the taxes so that the individual owners get what seems to them like tax-free dollars?
Seems like the tax burden ought to be shared between the corporation and the share owners.
