A similar type of event happened in the Carribbean decades ago. It was a nuke that rolled off the deck of a large ship in really rough seas. I believe it was an aircraft carrier. It also landed in shallow water and was not recovered by the U.S. I think it was an H bomb. If it was not an H bomb then there is yet another similar event involving an H bomb.
