Quite true. Very similar.
I remember well a college course where the prof taught that Hitler's obsession with air attacking britain into surrender and his madness in his invasion of Russia lost Hitler the war.
But, as you say, just like Bush, he tuned out all pleas to not take the action into Russia.
He was so sure of his rightness and speed this would succeed the German Troops were given no winter equipment.
I wish each night some organization in commercial time-slots would play the tape of Bush saying the war was over there would just be some minor resistance to clean up.
And then show tape of him arriving in helicopter in a flight uniform and declaring victory on the U.S.S Lincoln.
