Life,
Revisiting our brief discussion yesterday on solar, may I offer some additional insight to the Doc's in-depth and deliberate style of sharing with the community here. Beyond the shortage of high grade silicon production, TSL's miss by some .50 cents and the expectation that the other solar stocks reporting over the next few weeks will also trend to the downside, investing in any solar stock might be a little premature. I have a position in FSLR and have been living in a red ocean for some time. That said, it's a long for me and it's drop to $37.20 is an opportunity I'm hoping will get better once the news drives it down around $30-$32. When TSL hits $5 and some change, (currently in the $8's), I'll also gain additional position.
In sum, these are longs for me and the stock you site is a relative new comer to the installation piece. I did a recent paper on TSL and solar for my DBA and will share if you're interested. Unfortunately, I don't know how to atch to post yet. Send me your email and I'll forward.
Again, the disclaimer: do your own DD and this is not meant to advise anyone on stock market desions.
