Gosh, don't bite my head off. I'm just seeing if you want to take the opportunity to articulate your vision in a way that makes sense.

I'm not biting your head off. I'm not even arguing. I'm just expressing an opinion. When you say "in a way that makes sense" you mean in a way that makes sense to you. I believe the sense is self evident. Frankly, your's doesn't make any sense to me either. I don't see it as a fruitful pursuit to try to change someone's mind. Much more fruitful is to point out that my opinion is every bit as valid as your's and in our form of government it is not required that one side changes the other's mind. People have probably already made up their minds for themselves. Clearly there is no definition of "fair" that is written in stone. Moses did not come down from the mountain with a definition of fair. There is a view expressed currently that the rich are not paying their "fair share". The fact that someone says it does not make it true. It is their opinion of what constitutes fair. I do not share that view and I'm sure that the 47% of the population that pays no federal taxes would likely disagree with me just as Paul would throw his complete support behind anyone who would rob Peter to pay him.
