BadlyBroke,
You have to understand that some of us have been posting here for awhile and many have been posting on iHub for a long time. These people, me excluded, are very smart people. They have witnessed a lot just here concerning Tivus and posters with hidden agendas.
Look at it this way. Your handle has been online for almost 2 years. You had 9 posts before yesterday. Obviously, you lurk and most likely post under different alias'. We wonder your motive because back in June we had "headhuncho" come on board and post lots of technical things and how great Tivus was. He was supposedly a salesman who just happened to pop by HITEC and find Tivus across the street in the Hilton. He was fun to talk to until posters started questioning whether Tivus actually was in Omaha and the talk started that we all should call Omaha. Headhunch became very angry....threatening anyone who would jeopardize his lively hood and investment in Tivus. He then disappeared quickly. I think it was Steve Haag and his frustration that calling Omaha could screw things up there with Tivus took over in his posting. My point is people are skepticle when posters come around acting innocent and new yet have been around. The sketicism, IMO, is because of missed deadlines and fluff pr's from the company. Even though Tivus is established in Philly (verified completely by jwez and waggett in case there ever was a doubt with some people), the skepticism still exists with investors. The CC in August and the massive dilution since then has many investors feeling screwed over by Tivus...thrown under the bus. (I still have tire tracks by the way)
So, you can take it personal and leave or you can stick around and swap ideas. Whatever your agenda, I like talking possibilities given the ever-changing technology of today and you added things to the discussions that take place here. I would like to continue chatting considering your engineering background but you must do what you feel best for you. You do, though, need a tough skin around here as frustration and doubt rightly rule the day these days.
As jwez said, jsteele did not in any way intend to piss you off. IMO, he was giving you a compliment. I can't verify that you would laugh if you saw him but I can state that is his mo. Best of luck to you.
