5. Internationally, Naval assets of numerous nations are working to deter or respond to acts of piracy. These Navies do not have enough assets to patrol areas of piracy activity effectively. MDSI has executed an NDA, and is establishing a JV with Radix-Marine, (see http://www.radix-marine.com) located in Spokane, Washington. Radix Marine seeks to place our weapon system aboard an Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) that Radix is under contract for. This USV has long range operational capabilities, and with its extremely high speed characteristic, this USV will be a force multiplier for Navies worldwide.
The Company is a new start-up company and has had no revenues. For the full fiscal year ending March 2010, MDSI is expecting revenues of $8.5 million and net earnings of $2.3 Million. To date, approximately $30,000 of personal funds have been invested by the COO in the development of the system.
