Medicine is also empirical but it is NOT
a Science in the sense that a drug may
work for 98% of the people who take it,
but may have no effect on another 1%
and may make another 1% sicker.
Let's say Medicine is an Empirical Art
form ... .

PS: All hypotheses in Biology must be
proven empirically before they can be
promoted to the level of Scientific
Knowledge. This is why much of Darwinian
Evolution is NOT yet a Science. A consensus
is NOT a substitute for hard data. You
have to be faithful to the Scientific Method.
