To always obey His commands. For the sake of argument, we could call this keeping the 10 commandments. However, I think His commands are also written on the human conscience. Those that never read the actual 10 commandments still know what God requires (love your parents, don't lie, don't covet, etc.).

If we never break any commandments, God would declare us "good". We would not be separated from God and we would therefore not have any forthcoming punishment we need to be "saved" from.
