On one hand getting rid of Dykes was a good move - this guy was more of a cheerleader than an exploration manager capable of moving the projects forward. Trying to get a realistic estimate out of him was like pulling teeth - everything was always hopelessly optimistic. Management was smart to part ways with him.
Alternatively, they need to bring an exploration manager in who can get the projects moving forward. And that isn't going to be easy.
Not sure who mixed the CuMo Kool-aid, but everybody has drank their fill of it. Is the CuMo deposit big? Oh, yeah. Does it have environmental problems? Huge ones. Is it going to be possible to permit? Maybe, maybe not. But it the meantime it is going to take all of Mosquito's money to explore it and fight the Idaho Conservation League. And, at the end of the day, none of that money may ever come back to the shareholders.
I was never sure if it was Shaun Dykes or Brian McClay that was pushing CuMo the hardest, but either way I think this project has the potential for sinking the company.
