the whole thread was about the selling out of america for a few percent more profit for the corporate fucks. And you settle on arguing about a mineral that has nothing to do with exporting manufacturing jobs?

I believe in buying american made whenever possible, even if it costs 15% more, as the velocity of that money is so important for the survival of the middle class, rather than virtually all of it all going to the 1% greedmeisters.

and "economically and competitively" is also not as simple as you pretend. Just the imbalance in tariffs alone is enough to hurt america, if leveled so that china and india pay what we pay to export to them the field would be far different. They pay what, 15% to sell to us, while we pay 50% or more to sell to india... that should be leveled and then see where the chips fall. Unfair trade is what the globalist greedfucks love, another angle to extract some more money from us.
