I think you need to talk with you're broker on how they will handle that issue.

They could lock only the shares that you had at the time you turned in you're ballot and leave the remaining unlocked.

They could lock all shares at the time you buy in after the ballot is cast.

They could nullify you're ballot due to later bought shares, forcing you to resubmit a new ballot with all shares giving releases for distribution.
