(VIX low compared to the state of things in the world)
I'm not good at charts/TA stuff, but it just looked to low and the volume was picking up with lots 12,000 share trades going through in the low 14's so I put a few bucks in there just to 'watch' it and it took off. I didn't think it'd move that fast in such a short amount of time. I hesitated sharing it as I'd just found it but when it went from 14 to 16 I wanted those on the 'island' to be aware of it.
It sounds like you caught some of the action. I'm hoping to buy more Monday if it's still down. Maybe a good news POP in markets with a 'buy the rumor, sell the news.' event happening. If it all goes bad over the weekend I've still got my 14 purchase and then some. The TVIX board has some interesting posts. The volume does look really good and I think it was 22 million by the time we hit 21. I've traded FAZ it it was noting compared to what I experienced last week with TVIX.
