Why would you take investment advice from someone who can't pony up the few cents a day required for private messaging capability?

Exactly! I've thought this many times, but you're the first person I've read who's expressed it. IMHO it's a very valid point.

(As a minor aside, I also have trouble understanding how you could invest a large sum of money on the advice of someone who can't spell, but perhaps that's just my bugaboo. )
