Some observations regarding J11 posts and responses to his posts.
As we have all seen there have been difficulties getting the train down the track. From what I hear on the board and can conclude is the following. I've heard nothing the past many weeks via back channel that add to this post.
The move in Mexico is not intended to side step JB's desire for jobs in the USA, the shift to Mexico is to bring in larger scale revenues on line ASAP than is other wise possible in Arizona or the USA.
As we all have seen NIJ and other governmental requirements are slow in coming [no matter the reason] on this side of the border, so adjustments seemingly have been made.
The focus, on armor as BORK has indicated in the past, will financially support the company in the near term so that advances into the mining, agriculture and electrical sectors can be made. It is important that this happens sooner than later. . . and the Mexico move looks to do that.
The dollar value of the mining, agricultural and electrical sectors is much, much larger than the Body Armor market by factors of 10-20 depending on the breadth and depth of Kryron's applications.
I've heard estimates that the entire body armor market in the US is about a billion per/yr. +/-, which includes Military BA.
The job growth for USA associated jobs with Kryron will, in large part, come from the agricultural, mining and electrical market sectors in the coming years.
Since time is of the utmost importance, the facility in Mexico would likely be available and relatively easily moved in/modified for Kryton production.
Over the past decade a massive outflow of production from Mexico to China and SE Asia has left many manufacturing facilities needing work. . . a good opportunity for BORK.
Regards
