Even if one considers that you were only talking about the A/S, what response are you talking about exactly? The stock is up over 52% since the PRE 14C mentioning the increase in A/S so, as of yet, there has been no determinable negative response. The hiccups today could have just been profit taking, no?
Sure, I willl definitely explain.
The comment was made specifically yesterday as a response to the sharply lower opening the day after the stock reached around .004. The poster was a bit incredulous over this change so my reply addressed my opinion that the 2.5 B AS was probably casuing skiddishness and resulted in a distincly lower open. I was careless in not being precise in my wording however.
I am definitely surprised that price held up today. I think that anticipation over the recent acquisitions is buffering the effects of the new AS. To me, the present heavy debt and negative earnings, as well as potential for new AS to result in a greatly increased OS and float, does not suggest fundaments which should result in increased share price. Just my opinion of course.
One poster claimed to have received an E-mail promoting NXOI the day of the big gain. I would interpret this to mean that a P&D newsletter went out, but not sure. Many times these newsletters go out resulting in rapid rises in SP, often follwed by subsequent death spirals. Seen this many times first hand. It is almost predictable. This is why I am surprised that SP is holding up.
Sometimes this spiral can take some days or even weeks to complete. In the case of NXOI, there is enough excitement in the air that this downward trend may be truncated and might even result in growth. Tomorrow's SHM may have an impact. After that, I think normal influences will return.
Regardless, I do not think that the new AS can be ignored as some have suggested. To me it is like a monster just beyond the tree line. Invisible but close. Really depends upon how much of it gets issued into OS. No telling.
Regards
