hard to say, but if you look at the tape the trades bracketing that order were higher priced. looks like they got a volume discount.

one thing is for sure, there's been no shortage of volume on TVIX the last few days. cheap insurance.

EDIT: as i type this i see EUR/USD weakening... interesting timing.
