thanks, LB -- it didn't stop me from buying a chunk of TVIX early, and that call was before the jobs data really spiked the party punch. i think we could see $10, and if we do i'll grab a bunch of it.

this is a situation where having more than one account comes in handy. once TVIX does find a bottom i'll hope to have the cheapest shares in a trading account, so i can take pure profits off the bounce. it may retest the bottom, too, which could create a nice flipping opportunity, over and over until a new direction is established.

think of where the $VIX might go if israel were to take out iran's nuclear facilities, or if the arab spring heats up again, especially in syria. this is why i don't want to be "out" of TVIX for any length of time.
