Thanks -- I will tell them you said so. They are vain little critters and love to hear how good looking they are. wink My female is so striking that my vet took photos of her when I took her in for vaccinations. He said that in 25 years of being a vet he had never seen such deep emerald eyes.

She had been a very expensive cat that the owner wanted to re-home after 6 years because she was lonely during the day and needed a companion cat. A lot of people wanted to adopt her, but the owner picked me and my male after setting up a meeting and seeing how well the cats interacted as the fact that I would be home pretty much 24/7 as I was going through treatment for breast cancer and wasn't working. The kitty was bewildered at first at suddenly having a new home with a new owner and a brother, but my male had been in the same situation a year earlier and seemed to be very understanding and gentle. There was no chasing until she initiated it after accepting us as her new family and feeling comfortable in our home. She adjusted very well and both are very happy kitties. She is the one who hides around corners, lying in wait to ambush him.
