jar, Who would settle the question when the Bible has different passages that are in direct conflict? Also I am no scholar of the Bible and as this being the case would not be in a position to be a worthy opponent. I only copied that passage because it says what it says. There can be no question if it is literally interpreted. Does that mean my message of life against Hellfire and Damnation is invalid? I have had a long running discussion with brainlessone about doing no harm. He often resorts to the fact that others do much harm and why don't I complain about that? Just because others believe in causing harm to their fellow man doesn't mean I should consider it as an acceptable path for my government to follow. When I was 13 I accepted the Christian faith with all my heart and nothing whatsoever happened. As to what I believe as a life way is not to cause harm to others. Too many in this world want to hurt their neighbors for whatever perceived injustice they can conjure. Usually they resort to their religious beliefs as to their justification. How would you like it if your 7 year old daughter came home and she had been told by classmates in school that she was going to burn in Hellfire for eternity? What is in the cold heart of religious hate that folks can try to cause pain like that to others?
