Kanakaris Announces Retail Distribution Through Fast Forward Marketing, E-mail Campaign In Spanish And Spanish Ad Solicitation
MIAMI, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 28, 2003-- Following its acquisition of LAIN -- the Latin American Independent Network -- as a wholly owned subsidiary, Kanakaris Wireless (OTC BB:KKRW) today announced the expansion of CineManiaNetwork.com.

Effective immediately, the Kanakaris.com All Access Pass, offered on a $4.95-per-month subscription basis, enables viewers to click-and-view movies at www.CineManiaNetwork.com.
The company is planning to add more on-demand films as well as make available DVDs for purchase on the site. Kanakaris is launching an extensive year long targeted Spanish language e-mail campaign aimed at increasing paid subscribers and online sales. (The Kanakaris Pass also enables viewing hundreds of English language films, 24/7 Internet TV access and access to the Video Meeting Place).
Through the synergy of the Kanakaris acquisition, LAIN has reached an agreement with Fast Forward Marketing (also owned by Kanakaris Wireless) to have Spanish language DVDs distributed to retailers nationally in the United States.
Meanwhile, Kanakaris is soliciting Spanish language ads for its CineManiaNetwork Web site.
"The U.S. Hispanic market stands out as a pillar of stability -- and growth. And while the general market in the U.S. has flagged, Spanish-lingo broadcasters Univision and Telemundo have benefited from an increasing flow of ad dollars into Spanish-language advertising," reported Mary Sutter in an article in the Jan. 20-26, 2003, Variety NATPE market preview edition.
Interviews of LAIN President and Kanakaris Director Julio Neri and Kanakaris President Alex Kanakaris may be heard online and are accessible from the home page of www.CinemaPop.com (links are on right side of home page under Video Meeting Place) and from the www.Kanakaris.com Corporate page.
Both Spanish and English language news sources have provided coverage of the Kanakaris Wireless acquisition of LAIN, which gives Kanakaris an office in Miami Beach, known as the gateway to the Spanish speaking world. From the Miami area alone, Latino media concerns generate more than $2 billion in revenue yearly, according to the Miami-Dade Mayor's Office of Film and Entertainment.
To obtain a Kanakaris.com All Access Pass go to www.CinemaPop.com and click on Register at the top of the home page.
