Correct me if I'm wrong here, but I do not believe that a specific time line was drawn into the agreement to convert nor in being given divi shares. All was quite hypothetical as to timing. However, a commitment was made, which involved financial exchanges as in a contract agreement to perform. This may set a legal precedence.
If the original plan were to be resurrected and followed through on, if time line is not a legal issue, SDVI and GRAFF would go into history as accomplishing the nearly unimaginable. I am not convinced that this is not possible nor that it would not be in the company's best interest.
If it takes till the end of 2012 to accomplish the objectives, so be it. What's to bitch about! Yah, lots longer than expected, but anyone can look at these markets and the global economy and appreciate the current turn around and the possibilities projected so long as the global economy does not simply crash.
My vote is for the Mart and Ken team figuring it out and becoming heroes for doing so in the eyes of both customers and shareholders. I mean, if you are going to believe in something we'd just as well really believe in the rabbits. Why not! They are just chomping for Spring greens............
PROLIFIC COMES TO MIND!
"If earnings and good business sense could support it"
I don't think we have the earnings and distribution ability to do so. Of course, you are right that it would go a long way to solve problems if it happened. The earliest for such consideration IMO would be in a year, too long for many GRAFF holders.
