The LWLG University of Alabama partnership has some very interesting video on the revamped LWLG website that are really intriguing. The second video in particular regarding PV applications talks about developing direct light to electrical conversion in Perkinamine. That has some very exciting possibilities because of extreme cost reduction, enhanced performance on a thin sheet of plastic and remember Perkinamine has the ability to stand temperatures up to 300 degrees centigrade. I saw a study last week on the reduction in electrical output on silicon solar panels under high heat conditions. Electrical output dropped about 40% when the high heat conditions were duplicated in the trial.

When the Denver trials results were announced, I did a big shift into LWLG at a buck so got lucky when people overlooked the implications of those micro electronic capabilities using a radically new solution to current industry challenges.
