The correct answer is that YA had nothing, as you would say nada, to do with NeoMedia's inability to broadly license their patents to the industry. The nonperformance is because of an enormously risky strategy that was broadly supported by shareholders. It just didn't pan out.
Everything else is simply a symptom of this problem.
