Careful there, you just cited one passage in the old testament that justifies the perception that we are all the "children of Gods" (thus god is not only Jesus' father but every one's). You see in this passage the text use the Hebrew world "to know" (like "...and Abraham Knew Sarah etc. ), which has been used in context of "a man and a woman" as "conception", some argue that Jeremiah's conception is as wonderous as Jesus (he just did not have Paul as a Marketeer and the all mighty had to try again (g/ng)). However as far as ensoulment is considered, or even life, Genesis is absolutely clear on that (2:7): "Then the Lord, God, formed man out of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostril the breath of life, and man became a living being". Can it be clearer, before the first independent breath, no life, after, he became a living being. Mind you, a lot is lost in the translation, the original Hebrew is even clearer, it says (the last part) and man became a living "Soul". The very interesting point is in Hebrew, the abstract "soul" is "Neshama", while a breath is "Neshima", but 2:7 uses another version of soul "Nefesh" which is more a concrete soul rather that the abstract soul "Neshama". I could go on this single sentence for ever. The most important thing, however, is that federalization of the question of abortion (right to life vs right to chose) will be in violation of the constitution, since there are definitely a number of religions that do not consider the fetus a life form until it has independently breathed. Even some sects of Christianity (as I mentioned Aquinas ruling) would not agree with the "right to life" percept that life starts the moment a union of an egg and a sperm is concluded
