While not buying your premise... note that the 2.8Ghz on 90nm is a 95W part. Thus a 3.8Ghz is only predicing 36% frequency scaling at the same power, which is below "yesterday's" levels. Yes, Intel could end up doing worse, but the current prediction does allow for a fair amount of "messing it up"... --Alan
