How does that statement give "no confidence" to your own drug? He was talking about the drugs of other competitors.

Because if your drug is truly superior, you don't need for competitors to fail per se. If your drug is truly differentiated and better, even positive results from the competition should not be an issue. ONTY's CEO is saying it will take absolute failure of the competition's drugs for them to have a shot. Doesn't exactly instill confidence IMHO.
