I did not realize that, if I purchase any more jade I will ask the country of origin.


Look at the people who continue to buy ivory even when cognizant of the horrible suffering inflicted on elephants. This I think to be much better publicized than Myanmar’s jade mines yet the buyers keep coming.

I understand many times the elephants are severely wounded and left to die slowly over a long period of time and then the poacher returns to claim their ivory.

I won’t buy baby seal pelts either.

I am not going to Google this, I will explode with you.

I only hope now the consumers are becoming scarcer. Without a market we would have no problem with Myanmar jade, ivory, baby seal pelts and even drugs. I know I left out a bunch of stuff.
