Unisyn Voting Solutions, the company selected by the State Election Commission (EC) to implement the electronic ballot on the island, defended its financial strength and ability to run an innovative project in the November 6 election.

Vanpelt Howard, who has a contract to sell the products of Unisyn, told El Nuevo Dia that the company has vast experience to provide for the first time to Puerto Rico with about 7,000 machines with the technology "optical scanning system", an optical reader of the ballot.
