"....It's not a new MDC rule. It's a new administrative policy, and how did you know about it? It's new guidelines Matt uses for approving new accounts. Really just a tightening of the standards. Along the lines of "Why bother approving accounts of people who never post?" If the only functional difference between the two levels is the number of posts permitted per day, what difference does it make to people who post 0 times in 3 months?..."
The new people haven't had sufficient time to begin changing habits from posting elsewhere to moving over here. iHub is still a newbie on the overall scene itself. Many of the heavyweights on SI still don't even know it exists - and were suprised to be invited, but showed you the courtesy of registering anyway.
Habits are slow to change, and it's taken years for you to drag the TGL crew over here even with SSP and Bish banging away at it.
Rome wasn't built in a day, and iHub - like it's inventor - still has high levels of humidity about the input ports.
ps: "....and how did you know about it?...." Power of observation by an experienced engineer; it comes with the territory.
Park your Sub at the iHub - Bub; .....the experience might just "...float your boat..." !!!
.......According to the Great Pumpkin, ".....You're in .....iHub....., Charlie Brown....."!!!
