I did not say they were, but I will correct the conclusion that these shares are restricted and cannot become free trading as that is simply not true, exemptions exist and are used all the time. I will also point out the flaw thinking a lock exists, because there are no documents supporting that conclusion. In fact it is much more likely in this case to support illegal issuance has occured because of the DTCC action recently to chill this stock. As to the exact cause it would be speculative, exemption abuse or simply non registering once the holding period is observed. Nobody will know the exact reason, but one can know it is because of share issuance in some capacity.
