Oh .. I've GOT to answer this part of yours that I missed the first time .. yours - And I guess you believe that Libya was invaded for humanitarian reasons too?????????????????????????????????? All the corporatist oil companies are dancing in Libya today.
We get MOST of our oil from Canada and a much smaller proportion from Saudi.. so OIL had nothing to with Obamas decision to help the Libyan people from genocide .. however, this is a perfect example of what it means to have allies .. OUR allies .. France, England did get quite a bit of OIL from Libya ... . and this is how it works .. you make friends over the years and call them allies ... and when trouble comes ... you are WITH THEM ..AGAINST the trouble (Iran needs to TAKE NOTE) .. also, PERSONALLY I am not one of these who believe ALL POWER is BAD .. I believe that POWER can be used for GOOD also .. and the LIBYAN people ASKED us to help them, They asked Hillary Clinton to be exact, in France and the THEY thanked US AND the Arab League ALSO asked us to help .. PLUS the UN arranged and made a resolution .. THAT time .. our power was used for GOOD .. .one more thing .. on a personal level ..
I'm glad Gadaffi is gone .. he was a bastard of the FIRST degree .. imo. I have NO REGRETS .. it will be long and hard now for the Libyan people but that is the way revolution works .. long and hard and you never know what you're going to get ..same For Egypt ..Tunisia.. .Monaco .. This will be worked out for years and years to come .. .. it is the way of revolutions. .they have a way of happening again and again .. until they get what they want .... It's a HUGE struggle and it's not easy by any means ..
