Thanks Fortify and Zdiver. Hoping to be a great year. I was watching a Mayan documentary today (in spanish) but they was talking about the Mayan calandar and how it ends this year. Some of the carvings i was looking at in the temples resemble the same type of faces on our statuettes. Amazing to find a shipwreck over four hundred and fifty years old with artifacts (we are hearing) possibly pre-dating Christ.

Theres the one i am certain gave me the brain tumor;
This one i seen for sure on that documentary. Same type of facial features;

Because the metal detectors dont detect Jade its possible more pieces remain just under the coral.
The Mayan mirror has to be the most interesting find. Never gave much thought to when Mirrors actually came in to existance?
The coins and Spanish artifacts are pretty cool but the Mayan stuff thats like Indiana Jones.
