sumi; I do not have a juicer because I have not the medical need for it...yet. So far I am on a 20% animal protein and 80% fresh vegetarian diet. I never try to cook vegetable over 140F. No microwave because the radiation renders the molecular structure of ameno acids useless for neutrition. It is cold here in upstate NY...I need greasy old fashion animal fat to keep warm. I have a "Magic Bullet" grinder for flax seed to augment my oat meal breakfast. I also use flax oil for cooking because it has The Three Amigos...omega 3, 6 & 9.
I get my organic produce from the area supermarkets.
The advantage of juicers is that you can get protein, minerals and living enzymes from five 8 oz glasses of juice that would be equivalent to eating 20 pounds of vegetables.
The best juicer is the one that is two stage: that uses a hydraulic press on the leftover pulp.
