don't believe him, thats why there is a option/thing on ihub called ignore this poster.
I too was once the moderator of this board, I too was a strong proponent of AOD, but even I was smacked down by the dividend cut last time it happened.
I have no short positions because I don't know if I could even figure out how to place a short on a stock, I'm invested in long term stocks and ETFs ones that have proven track records of returns for years.
An example of what I own would be MO, T, CHI, KBW, RIT...
About 10 more like this rounds out my Portfolio.
I did see someone on Motley Fool write up AOD as a short term investment due to the NAV is more than the share price.
Bottom line from me is, AOD is a long term looser since inception total return is half the inception price minus the current share price.
That means for every dollar you would invest for the long haul you will end up with 50 cents in the end.
But then again if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is.
Wouldn't everyone buy AOD if it was truly a great investment?
