I haven't read of a time .. where we were not blemished ... I've read of the very early days when only landowners were allowed to vote .. of course this is after we killed the Indians .. and presidents presided over that .. there is NO guiltless president ... even beloved Ike .. screwed Iran with England and the results are still with us to this day ..

don't get me wrong .. it was a different world in different times .. but brutalities and intrigues and .. hey . .Look at even Reagan ... latin america anyone? ... No .. there has been no nostalgic era to worship .. It is what it is ....it is the way of our world and has been ever since the beginning......
