FWIW Synthon recently purchased Syntarga, based in the Netherlands, one of a few small companies having an approach in antibody drug conjugates and probably a target others were considering as well. While I don't see any connection to biosimilars, maybe Synthon are looking to differentiate themselves via an antibody/protein production capabililty, for example along the lines of Lonza. Lots of protein production expertise in the Netherlands, including in Nijmegen where I believe DSM is based. DSM puchased Gist-brocades (based a bit North near the Hague) a few years back, Gb was a key Novo Nordisk competitor in protein produciton back in the day.
