I think Dew's point is there's a potential role for a nuke+PI (and/or some other class) combo down the road, such as 7977+TMC435.




That would be stating the obvious. A couple of years ago during dual-nuke development I posed the question that a single nuke backbone might be "half a backbone" when accounting for resistant variants. A dual-nuke backbone is no longer a viable option in the foreseeable future after the failure of PSI-938. To my knowledge I never claimed two nukes were needed for oral therapy.
