I don't invest in companies with the thinking they will fail. That doesn't make sense. Yes, some will fail but isn't that the risk with all pinkies? I'm sure lots of people invested in Lehman Bros. Did they expect Lehman Bros. to fail? And Lehman Bros. wasn't even a pinkie.
I have been with ENTI a long time. And now PTEL (at no cost to me by the way). I have never felt "lock in" because of a forward split. I'm not a day trader.
